June 2011 - More than 6 months since the last sign of any news, it felt like the right time to open up the laptop and insert some words. Not too much has been happening. We've been quietly selling our T's and spending a heap of time in the garage welding in 'A' pillar bottoms and replacing rot with fresh steel. See here No Cuts, No Glory! October 2010 - American Car Magazine. Great to see a Supercharged T shirt in another favourite magazine. Nice to see the cover car is a Yellow Camaro - a nice reminder of some great two lane black top desert highway driving less than 10 days back. (A shame Hertz had disabled the traction control "off" button)
October 2010 - An opportunity to get over to the U.S. for a holiday has given me the chance to tick off a few dreams. I planned a weeks trip based around a NASCAR Supersprint race at Fontana Autoclub Speedway on sunday the 10th, and SoCal Bugorama at the same venue a week later. Inbetween those events were 6 fantastic days of driving a yellow Hertz Camaro across California, Arizona and Nevada. Two lane blacktop straight through deserts, to the South rim of the Grand Canyon. Touching on Route 66, and up and over the Hoover Dam, into Las Vegas. On to Death Valley and along side the Dry Salt Lake and finally back into Fontana and Racho Cucamonga for that last Bugorama of the season. NASCAR SOCAL BUGORAMA Sept 2010 - Retro Car Magazine have given us a really nice shout out in their news section. A great bit of copy and our press release pic has left us all well pleased. Thanks Retro Car!
Sept 2010 - VW ACTION 2010. It was great to make our way to Santa Pod for a full weekend of VW based car show, shine & Race. Its always good to be at Santa Pod, and we weren't disappointed with a great mix of both VW's, Muscle cars and other vehicular delights including the Altereds out on the strip. The show and shine on sunday was fantastic too, with possibly the most directional water cooled vw show car I've ever seen. Take a look at the pics and make up your own mind. The work was flawless and the concept was very pure and uncomplicated. Excellent work - I'm sure featires will be out soon in a plethora of automotive magazines. Sept 2010 - Okay, so things got busy and the News was neglected. Its time to get it updated (including some serious backdating as its actually October now!) August 2010 - Well, after the slight over excitement at seeing a Supercharged Inc T shirt in the pages of Top Gear magazine, we've been hard at it ironing and photographing one set of the T shirts and composing some sort of "press release" copy. The first people to publish it have been the very good people of VZi. Thats www.volkszone.com to the uninitiated. Our press release went on the News pages of Volkszone and once again we collapsed with pride. Thanks VZi :-) July 2010 - June was slipping by with not a lot going on in our little Supercharged world, until an email from Top Gear Magazine came through requesting one of the electric blue Superbird Tee's to be included in their GEAR pages! We set to work packaging up the T and got it posted off to Top Gear Towers the next day and then, we waited... ...and waited... and finally the August issue arrived!
We clawed backwards and forwards through the pages looking for that GEAR feature and were not disappointed when we found the Superbird T, looking cool in Electric Blue.
May 2010 - So whats on the cards for May? Well the garage is cleared, and the floorpan halves are on order. Its time to split the body off the pan and make something a bit more structurally sound out of the old bug. I'm aiming for a floorpan that doesn't let in water, and A pillar bottoms....by that I mean that where there is currently thin air, I would like to see metal. Time to ring Hookies! April 2010 - We want to get to know you. So here's the "April only" deal: Drop us a mail and tell us a bit about you, and in return we'll send you a code to get your first Supercharged order at 50% OFF! Just mail your name, age, and what cars your into, and we'll mail you back the code and some sort of membership i.d. so we can keep you in the know about new stuff and future deals. Easy! Jan 2010 - So its nearly February already. Can't really say what's been achieved in January. Its basically all secret. Top super secret can't say anything have to kill you and all that. Okay, not much happens = not much to say. You can still go shopping though ;) - get shopping for T shirts now! Jan 2010 - First up, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Its been a slow start but there's really a lot to do this month. We're trying to work out a way to get a better variety of T shirt designs on offer to you, covering a wider cross section of car styles. We're supposed to be preparing for Dubfreeze. We're meant to be keeping the Supercharged Inc blog up to date. We're attempting to sort out a few bits of the website design including the way it links in with the blog and with the shop. But what we've managed, is nothing! Things in "real life" have been hectic, but we're back on the case and looking to push things forward. Have a great 2010. Sign up to the blog to be kept up to date with our T shirt releases plus "blog subscriber only offers!!!! Dec 2009 - DUBFREEZE 2010. We're thinking of taking the Supercharged message to Dubfreeze by way of a significantly mediocre tradestand. So far we've applied for a plot. Two of the syndicate appear to be up for it, so hopefully we'll be there with some of our VW T shirts to continue what we've begun here in real life! As long we have deck chairs and fingerless gloves, I'll be happy....oh and someone's gonna need a leather fanny pack. Nice.
Dec 2009 - SUPERCHARGED INC BLOG. In a bid to simply spread the message of our VW, Hot Rod and Muscle Car T shirts further, we've started a blog. You can find it at www.superchargedinc.wordpress.com. The plan is to integrate the blog into this home page so that this news is that blog and vice versa. But the best plans are always laid to waste so for now, theres some news here, and theres some news there. Clear as old gearbox oil? Good. Dec 2009 - HAPPY CHRISTMAS Gasoline fans. Yep, December is here again and the count down to the 25th is on! Don't forget to place your Supercharged Inc order before the 14th if you want it in time for Christmas. Nov 2009 - Recently everything has gone into overdrive and there have been more late nights than I care to remember. The result of this, apart from extreme tiredness, is the delivery of our first batch of very limited edition T shirts. We've been pushing the message of gasoline and wide open throttle from various sofas via this website for a while but now (finally), YOU can push this message further via the medium that is T shirts. Just over a week ago we were at the print studio where the first proto's and then subsequent print run for the initial 4 Supercharged T shirts happened. Some other bits of the Supercharged jigsaw will also come together over the next few days. Nov 2009 - We've primed the jets, switched on the ignition and finally fired up the print run for those first T shirts we've been waiting for so long. Up at the print studio watching the screen printing process and choosing the final print techniques and colours was cool. Seeing the first pass of the squeegie and the black ink pass through the screen and create that first T shirt gave a great feeling. Sept 2009 - Headed out to Sacramento for Bugorama #64. Hired a Mustang and drove from San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge and on to watch some of the fastest VW racing I've seen, and some sweet show cars into the bargain with it. Not to mention picking up some bits and pieces from the swap meet. Add to that meeting an icon ("Muffler Mike", thanks for letting me sit in the hot seat!), plus just generally soaking up the atmosphere on a hot sunny Sacramento Sunday, and you have the mixture for an amazing event. So, Bugorama #64, check out the pictures in the VISITORS PARKING LOT.

April 2009 - Well after messing about with some vector based illustration of the Rat Patrol Beetle, it seemed only right to have a look at what it might look like as a Tee Print. Here's the link...decide for yourself. This Volksrod just looks good on anything.

Desperate to hang the first print. But still we're not quite there. What I can say is we have a bag full of neck labels now ;-) and I just finished the last of the first 4 Tee prints. Jan 2009 - Happy New Year!! (Craig). Well another year begins, and this year we look forward to seeing some of the ideas behind Supercharged come to life. Slowly slowly (oh so slowly) things continue to go on behind the scenes, but just to keep it fresh, check out the new Rat Patrol print art work. An awesome custom beetle, I just had to play with an illustration.
Dec 2008 - Happy Christmas. Not in time for Christmas, but in time for the New Year are the first 3 Supercharged T shirts. They are off to the screen printers and should be ready to ship late Jan.
Dec 2008 - Some changes are now in place for the site design. Quite a few late nights learning how to make the worlds most messy website code and bodging in some javascript, has resulted in a few improvements. Nov 2008 - SuperchargedInc Flickr page. More pictures hosted on our Flickr site. Flickr Here Oct 2008 - More shots added to the Visitors Parking Lot from the USA and Hong Kong. Came back from the USA with a selection of Autometer guages but no WEBER 48 IDA's. Plans for an engine build to make use of the guages are forming. Feb 2008 - Supercharged gets on line Sept 2008 - SUPERCHARGED goes on holiday to the STATES. Hoping to bring back some Twin 48's for the soon to be started SUPERCHARGED RACE CAR.... if it ever happens it will be a miracle. August 2008 - VW ACTION images.
